About
Hello, I am Lorna Pullman and I qualified as a Foot Health Practitioner from the SMAE Institute in 2007. Previous to this, I taught for 18 years, specialising in the education of Deaf children. I have a B.A. Hons in Education & Audiology and a M.A. in Education.
I run a clinic treating patients with foot problems in Lymington, Hampshire which covers the New Forest and Solent areas. The clinic is also a shop so customers are able visit try-on Vionic and Strive footwear or to stock-up on their favourite Dr.’s Remedy nail polishes, socks and foot creams (by appointment). If you are not local to Lymington, run an online shop and can post my range of footcare products and footwear to anywhere in the UK.
A foot health practitioner cares for your feet in a similar way to a chiropodist or podiatrist. I deal with all types of foot pain and discomfort, including corns, bunions, Athlete’s Foot, toenail infections and heel pain. I also supply orthotics, orthotic footwear, specialist socks and anti-fungal nail polishes.
Continuous professional development (CPD) is an important part of being a Foot Health Practitioner. Since qualifying, I have also trained in Biomechanics, Nail Bracing for ingrowing toenails, Paraffin Wax Treatments and more, adding these to the services I offer.
I am not a chiropodist or podiatrist but I am a member of the Open College of Foot Health Professionals (MCFHP) and a member of the British Association of Foot Health Professionals (MAFHP). I am bound by the Code of Ethics, Rules of the Association and professionally insured. I provide a highly professional service where comfort, safety, hygiene and confidentiality are paramount.
