About

Lorna Pullman
Member of SMAE

Hello, I am Lorna Pullman and I qualified as a Foot Health Practitioner from the SMAE Institute in 2007. Previous to this, I taught for 18 years, specialising in the education of Deaf children. I have a B.A. Hons in Education & Audiology and a M.A. in Education.

I run a clinic treating patients with foot problems in Lymington, Hampshire which covers the New Forest and Solent areas. The clinic is also a shop so customers are able visit try-on Vionic and Strive footwear or to stock-up on their favourite Dr.’s Remedy nail polishes, socks and foot creams (by appointment). If you are not local to Lymington,  run an online shop and can post my range of footcare products and footwear to anywhere in the UK.

A foot health practitioner cares for your feet in a similar way to a chiropodist or podiatrist. I deal with all types of foot pain and discomfort, including corns, bunions, Athlete’s Foot, toenail infections and heel pain. I also supply orthotics, orthotic footwear, specialist socks and anti-fungal nail polishes.

Continuous professional development (CPD) is an important part of being a Foot Health Practitioner. Since qualifying, I have also trained in Biomechanics, Nail Bracing for ingrowing toenails, Paraffin Wax Treatments and more, adding these to the services I offer.

I am not a chiropodist or podiatrist but I am a member of the Open College of Foot Health Professionals (MCFHP) and a member of the British Association of Foot Health Professionals (MAFHP). I am bound by the Code of Ethics, Rules of the Association and professionally insured. I provide a highly professional service where comfort, safety, hygiene and confidentiality are paramount.

CRB checked.

Testimonials

I would like to thank you for doing your best to provide me with orthotics adapted to my needs. They are serving me very well. I would not hesitate to recommend your very professional and friendly service to anyone looking for similar help.

Mrs B. Berkhamsted

You have given us excellent foot treatment over quite a number of years and we have both been impressed by your skill and high hygiene levels.

Mr & Mrs B, Hemel Hempstead

I have been a client of Lorna’s for a few years, as I initially went to her with a number of issues. Lorna has worked to improve the condition of my feet, eliminate corns and athlete’s foot, over this period, for which I am most grateful. I have no hesitation in recommending Lorna to anyone with foot issues.

Mr. H, Hemel Hempstead

I just wanted to thank you so very much for your kind and professional approach that has done so much for the problems I was experiencing about three years ago. From suffering from a bad case of plantar fasciitis and a nail fungus infection I have gone to no pain and healthy feet and nails. The custom-made orthotics have changed my life as well as the general foot health routine that I benefited from during the consultation.

Ms. S, Watford

As we all know nothing stays the same forever, and with you relocating to the New Forest we will be losing a very kind, considerate and expert foot practitioner. Thankyou for encouraging us to take more interest in our feet and ensuring they are well maintained, we have been walking comfortably ever since.

Mr & Mrs C, Kings Langley

The dramatic improvement to the health of my feet during the time that I have been treated by Lorna Pullman has been truly impressive. Her diagnoses and the treatments prescribed have been totally effective.

Mr F, Hemel Hempstead

I have visited Lorna for many years. I am a Type II Diabetic and Lorna has looked after the health of my feet. She always gives sound practical advice. I can thoroughly recommend her services.

Mrs A, Studham

I developed a hammer toe early on in life and visited many chiropodist units. I often left with bloodied feet and usually needed help 4 weeks later. I was introduced to Lorna and from then on did not need strappings on my feet and was given good advice on shoes and how I could help myself following her good maintenance advice.
